ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT REMANUFACTURED TONER

Monday, January 12th, 2009

The use of remanufactured toner and recycling empty cartridges not only helps you reduce the costs but also reduce the environmental impact of the product residual. Every office uses a printer. Most printers use toner cartridges that need to be replaced. To reduce the printing costs you can use remanufactured toner cartridges. There are many manufacturers that manufacture these cartridges and also collect the spent cartridges.
Remanufactured toner cartridges are made from the parts of used cartridges. This helps in reducing the cost of production. All the parts that can be reused are joined and remanufactured. These cartridges are of good quality and sometimes also perform better than the OEM (original equipment manufacturer). Most if not all the suppliers of the remanufactured toner cartridges will provide you with guarantee on the quality of the toner cartridge. These at times can exceed your expectations as well. These cartridges will not damage or spoil your printer. If the remanufactured cartridge is properly produced it will not damage any machine. It is as good as the real thing.
These cartridges are the dissembled parts of the old cartridges. They are first screened on their durability and only then used. A few of the parts that are used for remanufacturing the toner is the drum, wiper blade, roller and corona wire assembly. The parts that are defective or worn out, are discarded and replaced. The cartridge is cleaned and then the toner is refilled and the cartridge is reassembled.
The cost of the remanufactured toner cartridges is much less than the OEM. The cost is reduced by 30 to 60% than the original cartridges. There are many who will buy back the used cartridges which in turn saves you more money.
Apart from the cost the other most important benefit is the benefits to the environment. Almost 97% of the remanufactured toners are recyclable. The toner is composed of mainly plastic and metal and smaller amounts of paper, foam, rubber and toner. The plastic in the cartridge will take thousands of years to decompose but all other materials can be reused or recycled.
The remanufactured toners make use of existing materials and reuse them if possible. This helps to conserve the natural resources.
