REFILL YOUR LASER PRINTER TONER

Monday, January 12th, 2009

There are so many times when you are in the middle of an important print job and that is when your laser printer toner runs out on you! This can get very annoying as not only are you interrupted in the middle of your job, but you also know this is going to cost you lots of money to replace the cartridge. This is when you need to refill your laser printer toner cartridge. Many of you don’t know that you can do this and that too it is a simple process.
The toner cartridges of all printers are actually manufactured for a long life. Normally we don’t even use them for half their life span as we are not aware that they can be refilled. When the cartridge runs out of ink we send them back to the manufacturer who will recycle it. But we don’t realize is that we don’t always need to do this. There is no need to throw away the cartridge or even send it for recycling immediately, when you can simply refill the laser printer toner.
The cartridge has just run out of ink and all it needs is some more ink. There is no need to replace, recycle or even recondition the cartridge, just put in more ink and it will work like it did. The best part is this is fairly simple to do. The printer manufacturer has tried to make this difficult by blocking the hole, but with the availability of toner refill kits, it is still simple. This is actually a more environment friendly option than recycling the cartridge. As instead of producing new cartridges, we only need to continue using the same cartridge.
Refilling your cartridge also helps to make your pocket heavier; it helps you to save a lot of money as it is much cheaper than buying a new cartridge. However the extent of money you save will depend on the laser printer toner that you require for your printer.
To refill the ink in the cartridges you need to make a little hole in the cartridge and then pour the ink inside. This is an easy process and will not take too much of your time.
