Consumables for Toners
Tuesday, February 17th, 2009Printers have become the boon of the present times. This is evident in the fact that printers find use in almost all places like hotels, restaurants, offices, hospitals and the like. Places that need fast printouts generally use the laser printers because they have a faster speed of functioning. Basically, there are two types of printers on basis of colour- the monochrome and the colour printer. The monochrome printers are best suited for the text prints and can print up to a maximum of 500 prints per minute. Of course, the number of prints per minute depends on the type of model being used. On the other hand, the colour printers are used to print pictures and images. The colour printers are also used to print the colour black in images.
The colour printers are more expensive as compared to the monochrome printers and the toner consumables are also expensive. The main reason for the extra cost of these printers is the speed of their functioning. They have a host of features which are generally not present on the monochrome printers. This is because the colour printers are usually used to print images. The first and foremost thing which determines the cost of the printer is the amount of toner consumables used. The consumables consist of a few things which have to be changed from time to time. This is to ensure optimum performance from the printer. The consumables include such components as the developer unit, fuser, ozone filter, etc. the varied nature of these components accounts for the high cost of the printer.
The toner consumables generally determine the quality of the printer. Since these printers can cost quite a handsome sum, it is always better to do a little survey before settling in on the one which you want to buy.
